Tart is a classic Italian dessert. Here we propose a new variant with vegan shortbread pastry.
Ingredients for the vegan shortbread pastry:
- 250g Wheat flour
- 70g Extra Virgin Taggiasca Olive Oil from the Rudasso farm
- 8g Baking powder
- 125g White sugar
- 60g Water
- Organic Plum Jam from the Rudasso farm
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead a homogeneous dough. Put to rest in the fridge for 20 minutes. Roll out 2/3 of the dough in a baking pan to a thickness of about half a centimeter. Spread the plum jam from the Rudasso farm on the shortbread. Use the remaining dough to finish the outside edge of the tart and to decorate. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
